A new series Robert Cohen has created launching 10th March 2022 at Royal Academy of Music..

• Should we plan our breathing?

• Should we breathe with our musical partners?

• How differently do string players, wind players, singers and conductors breathe?

Robert explores these questions with his eminent guests Ailish Tynan (soprano), Nick Smart (jazz trumpet) and Sian Edwards (conductor) in an open discussion expressing their thoughts, beliefs and the way they implement breathing in music.

Later in March each guest will give a masterclass focused on breathing, hosted by Robert.
